Meet the PLLA Biostimulator Team

This site is led by Ke He, MD, who plans every course and is responsible for its medical content. The other three physicians contribute the surgical, refinement and dermatologic perspectives that a decision about a gradual, non-reversible volumiser draws on.

Deputy Director & Head of Skin & Laser Aesthetics · Attending Physician, Licensed Aesthetic Attending · Lead Physician of This Site

Collagen stimulation · dilution and placement plane · the flat months after a session

Dr. Ke He is Deputy Director of the Plastic Surgery & Aesthetics Medical Center at Chongqing West District Hospital and head of its skin and laser aesthetic service — and she is the lead physician of this site. A core specialist formerly at the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Xinqiao Hospital, affiliated with Army Medical University, she has worked on the clinical front line in skin laser and injectable aesthetics for more than 20 years, serving over ten thousand patients.

Dr. He treats this substance as a planning problem, because almost everything that decides the result happens before the injection. She assesses tissue coverage by zone, sets the preparation and the plane for the area rather than using one approach throughout, and spaces the sessions so the tissue is never crowded. Because nothing is visible for weeks, she prepares patients for the flat period explicitly, uses standardised photographs rather than memory to judge the build, and refuses a top-up that is being asked for out of impatience rather than evidence. When a firm area or a delayed reaction appears in the months after the course, the assessment and its management stay with her.

Clinical focus

  • Tissue-coverage assessment by zone before a course is planned
  • Preparation and placement plane, chosen for the area rather than applied uniformly
  • Session count, intervals and a defined stopping point for the course
  • Preparing patients for the flat weeks, and judging the build on standardised photographs
  • Recognition and management of nodules, granulomas and delayed inflammatory reactions

Academic roles & achievements

  • Member, Laser Medicine Group, Chinese Medical Association Plastic Surgery Branch
  • Member, Facial Rejuvenation Group, Chinese Medical Association Plastic Surgery Branch

The flat weeks are the treatment, not the wait

A course of this substance asks for several weeks in which nothing appears to change. A patient who has not been told to expect that will stop at the moment the collagen response is beginning.

Start with an assessment, not a course

Arrange a consultation. We will assess tissue coverage by zone, describe the flat weeks honestly, explain how long the plan runs and where it stops, and say plainly when a reversible filler or an operation is the better answer.
